candidate filing information

All candidates who file for office must have an active Campaign Finance Committee. Paperwork to register a new committee must be filed within 10 days of organizing the committee or filing a Notice of Candidacy, whichever occurs first.  


Candidate Filing Periods are set by GS 163-109.2 and GS 163-291. Candidates may only filed for contests listed during the specified time period.
