The Davidson County Board of Elections is responsible for the registration of all Davidson County residents who are eligible to vote.  Additionally, the Board is responsible for conducting fair, non-partisan elections consistent with the General Statutes of the State of North Carolina and the United States of America, as well as all procedures and regulations as prescribed by the North Carolina State Board of Elections. 


IMPORTANT: 
Voters will not be required to show photo ID for the November 3, 2020 general election. In a December 31 order, a federal district court blocked North Carolina's voter photo ID requirement from taking effect. The injunction will remain in place until further order of the court.

The Davidson County Board of Elections will meet on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 8:30 AM in the Commissioners Meeting Room on the 4th floor of the Governmental Building.
Items on the agenda will include:
1. One Stop Voting;
2. Covid-19 Supplies;
3. Safety for precinct workers;
4. State Board of Elections Training Conference;
5. Voting equipment; and
6. Any other business that pertains to the November 3, 2020 General Election.

Board Meeting are open to the public
